The creation of HELENERGY S.A. relies on a mixture of many years of scientific and business experience in the construction and management of major technical and energy projects, for more than 35 years, experience shared by most members of its Board of Directors and its main shareholder.
Under these conditions the activity of our company in the key area of private energy production started, with emphasis on selected and specialized sectors of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and High Efficiency Electric and Thermal Cogeneration (CHP) with the business drive to make her a Leader in her field.
With this vision, we started to create an energy organization that will manage the construction and operation of standard energy projects with the most modern technologies in energy production and management, investing, with own funds, in means and suitable human resources.

Dr. George Pantazis is a Mechanical – Electrical Engineer of NTUA, a postgraduate of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), a PhD in the Chair of Industrial Turbines of the same University, an executive of the German aeronautical industry, a founding member and CEO of energy and construction companies in Greece and Germany. Dr. George Pantazis is Chairman of the BoD and CEO of the company and is responsible for strategic planning and management.
Mr. George Vogiatzakis is an Electrical Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Patras, holds an MBA from the STIRLING University of Great Britain. Former Managing Director of BUSINESS ENERGY S.A. Now Vice Chairman of the BoD of HELENERGY S.A.
Dr. Christos Papageorgiou is an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer of NTUA, former Associate Professor of NTUA, Chair of Electromechanical Systems and Energy, PhD holder of Imperial College of London University, former CEO of OLYMPIC AIRWAYS, former Chairman and CEO of National Hellenic Railways, former Chairman of the subsidiary company of National Bank PAEGA S.A, former member of the Boards of Directors of major Greek companies, current member of the Board of Directors of the company responsible for the execution and monitoring of energy and industrial projects.
